The Race to Rebuild is a 5k Race located at Bluemont Park in Arlington, VA. The race is a benefit for Empower Generation in their efforts to create economic opportunities and ease the suffering of Nepal after the earthquakes.
Race to Rebuild is a fun run raising money to help survivors of the devastating Nepal earthquakes rebuild with solar via Empower Generation. Operating in Nepal since 2011 Empower Generation is an organization that starts and supports women-led businesses to distribute clean energy solutions.
WHY
People in Nepal do not have access to reliable power, now they need it more than ever. Solar
helps families stay safe, charges mobile phones to connect, enables children to study at night and helps businesses get back on their feet.
